The book challenge I gave myself...Progress so far.

In July, shortly before I started writing here- I gave myself a challenge of reading 50 books by the last day of 2015 (December 31st). I have made great progress, but have yet to jot down in one place all the books that I have read thus far while trying to complete this challenge. So I figured I would do that now.
- "Doctor Who: Tales of Trenzalore" by Justin Richards
- "Doctor Who: Twelve Doctors, Twelve Stories" by Various Authors
- "Family Pictures" by Jane Green (I was actually surprised by how much I liked this book!)
- "17 Deadly Women through the Ages: True Crime" by Stephanie Glover (I was not impressed with this one.)
- "Quitting Cold Stone" by Sam Neumann
- "The Long and Faraway Gone" by Lou Berney (LOVED this one)
- "Twenty Eight and a Half Wishes" by Denise Grover Swank
- "The Fault in Our Pants" by Steve Lookner
- "Doctor Who: The Silurian Gift" by Mike Tucker (I wasn't completely thrilled by this one, but it was good- if a little short)
- "Wantin" by Truth Devour (This was really hard to get through, I hated the way it was written)
- "Whiplash River" by Lou Berney
- "Glassford Girl 3" by Jay J. Falconer
- "Gunshot Straight" by Lou Berney
- "River Dream" by DWDavisRSL
- "The Boy from Buzby Beach" by DW Davis (Didn't think I needed to tag you on every single book DW)
- "Dreams Change" by DW Davis
- "Dreams Adrift" by DW Davis
- "Sea, Sand and Sabine" by DW Davis
- "A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey
- "Dress your Family in Denim and Corduroy" by David Sedaris
- "Letters from the Loony Bin" by Thatcher C Nalley
- "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" by Ransom Riggs
- "Hollow City" by Ransom Riggs
- "Thirty Four and a Half Predicaments" by Denise Grover Swank
- "Thirty Three and a Half Shennanigans" by Denise Grover Swank
- "Thirty Two and a Half Complications" by Denise Grover Swank
- "Thirty One and a Half Regrets" by Denise Grover Swank
- "Thirty and a Half Excuses" by Denise Grover Swank
- "Twenty Nine and a Half Reasons" by Denise Grover Swank
So with 21 more books to read before Dec 31, I have faith that I can get the challenge that I put to myself done, and maybe even exceed it a little bit.

Wow, that's a lot of books! I find I don't have time to read as much as I used to. I average about two to three books in a year, not counting re-reads. I'm currently reading Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed by Jared Diamond.

To have read 29 books since July is quite an accomplishment in itself. I feel certain you can reach and probably exceed your goal.

I think A Million Little Pieces is the only re-read on this list. Earlier this year I did re read both Paper Towns and The Fault in our Stars by John Green, usually at least once a year I re read To Kill a Mockingbird.
1Ooh, the title of the book you are currently reading in intriguing, I'll have to check it out.
