Tigresses was not able to move in Finals.

Shakey's V League Season 12 game 3 between Ateneo de Manila University Lady Eagles and University Of Sto. Tomas Tigresses for semifinals was already ended last Wednesday. It was the Lady Eagles who won the game and will move to the Finals over National University Lady Bulldogs tomorrow afternoon, best of 3 championship round. It was an intense game between the Eagles and Tigresses but somehow the latter had a hard time to fight back on the later part of the match. Coming from a win during second game to tied, the Tigresses was not abled to hold on to the momentum. There were various substitutions of their three setters yet it seems that they were not abled to do the right execution and combination of attacks. Laure who used to be their number one spiker was not able to create powerful attacks. Veteran and captain Lastimosa was not able to do attacks that she used to do. Their defense in terms of net blocking was quite loose as well even their middle attacks was quite not executed well. Nevertheless, Tigresses did their best to win the game for them to move forward to the finals yet the Lady Eagles was able to stop them with their aggressiveness and steadiness during the game. Tigresses will face the Lady Tamaraws battling for third place for this season of Shakey's V League.
