Today I was not having a good day...

Today I was not having a good day. My son had a severe asthma attack and could not go to school. I always feel stressed out when I see him coughing and wheezing. Then a couple of other things went wrong as well and I was feeling very upset and weepy.

Then I logged in to Persona Paper and read the posts. And I cannot tell you how much better I feel now. It was so nice to see luisga814 again. It was fun reading about Paulie ‘s pizza delivery job that ended prematurely.

I enjoyed AliCanary ’s post about Racism in America because I have also seen the movie “Help” recently. Reading about melody23 ‘s mother's new found penchant for new technology was also hilarious (sorry emoticon  ) and last but not the least, I truly enjoyed CoralLevang ’s rather philosophical post about why we write.

I will have to find more about though. I have heard the term before but I am not entirely sure I know what it means.

And it was nice to see names of celticeagle , Colibry21 and Lemark in my activity list again though I have not visited their posts yet.

But thank you everyone for cheering me up. I feel slightly less burdened and a bit more cheerful and now can face the rest of the day with a bit more courage and strength.

Have a great day.

Thank you. Yes, he is a little better (AH). I hope he recovers fully during the weekend. I feel so helpless when he is unwell.

I really hope that your son feels better soon. It can't be easy for you guys. I'm glad to see your name on my notification list too.

I am sorry your son was not well today. It is always hard to see our children suffer. Pollyanna was a little girl in a film of the same name. She was always trying to find something good about everything.

You must feel pretty helpless when your son experiences those asthma attacks -- at least that's how I would feel. I hope he recovers soon.

I come to Persona Paper first thing when I awaken for the companionship and feeling of community, as you've explained here. It helps me to get outside of my own thoughts for a while.

Sorry about your son's asthma attack, as someone who has had a few of them I know how scary they are for the person having them but it must be such a horrible feeling to have to watch it happen to your son.

Oh and don't worry, I am laughing at mum too she is now trying to figure out how Netflix works because its on her new tv and she thinks its a great idea

My daughter had asthma as a child, it's so frightening - I hope your son is feeling better now

Aww I'm glad that coming here and reading other posts cheered you up. I loved the help movie and the book! Both were so amazing! I am sorry to hear that your son was having such a hard time with his asthma. I had it real bad when I was young and my neice really suffers with it at times as well. Not as much as she gets older thankfully
