Yay it's finally raining!

About forty five minutes ago it starting raining, out of the blue. Literally the skies were blue when it started raining. In the time since then it has opened up and really started pouring. I moved my work station over to the window because there was an open table, and when I am using my tablet, with the keyboard I prefer to have a table.

This gives me a front seat to the rain. It's not blue skies anymore. In fact they are quite gray and dreay, and the rain is coming down pretty good as mentioned before. There has also been a littl ebit of lightning, but no thunder that I've heard- although I do have my headphones in, well one headphone. (Holy run on sentence Batman!)

I'm now eating lunch which is almost identical to what I got last week when I spent the afternoon writing at the mall. Ithink the only difference is that I opted for chicken fried rice instead of veggie fried rice.

Hopefully this rain will help it cool off today, it was gnarly hot this morning.

A headline like yay it's raining would be very unlikely in this part of the world. I thin I we have currently had about a week without rain - yay.

I like a good mix of rain and sunshine. We need the rain up here this week. Starting on Wednesday, it's supposed to be sunshine again.

Yeah I have friends in both Portland and Hillsboro, not exactly your area, but close and I've been hearing all about the rain-or lack there of.

K and I had a version of chicken fried rice, homemade, for supper tonight, only K used ground chicken instead of small chicken strips.
