Good Monday Morning, August 17th

Another sleepless night. I really wish that I would figure out how to get consistent, restful sleep.

I had a good time last night at my friend's home. I will write more later about that.

I also got a message from RGD last night that they will be pulling in nearly a week early from their fishing trip. He also mentioned that he caught, and is bringing back about 25 pounds of salmon fillets, 20 of ling cod, and 4 of halibut, as well as several pounds of prawns. Once they caught them, they clean and filet them, and then freeze them. I am glad that he will be sharing them with me.

I am going to get dressed and head into Tacoma. I cannot wait longer for my mani- and pedicures.

Have a great day!

I should hope he IS sharing them with you, after you looked after him and fed him so well when he was just out of hospital. I hope he enjoyed the trip

Very nice, some fresh fish and not factory farmed!

Even coming back a week early and the fishing was that bountiful? How great is that? I bet it will be even greater when some of that catch is in your freezer. : )

I share your difficulty in sleeping well at night. It used to just be I would have difficulty falling asleep, but in recent months I've also begun to wake up every 30 minutes or so for a few hours. Let's hope this is an issue that soon resolves itself, yes?

Glad to hear he had a good time. If you figure out that sleep thing without pills make sure to share with all of us

They are scheduled to pull in about noon. I'll have the ice chest in the car, and we'll have a little bit to catch up before he heads to his place. I wonder if it will take him awhile to get his land legs back.

Yes, it is quite tasty. The people that RGD went with do this usually each year for about 4 months. It's how they eat for the rest of the year.

To get fresh seafood is a treat.
I do the same thing sometimes about waking up often.

I sure will. I do sometimes take an Aleve PM

Every time I read that you are headed into Tacoma I feel a pang of longing though I spent less than two years there. So many fond memories of the area and the people I knew.

Good Morning Tuesday here. I hope you can get good sleep that you need,

It's changed a lot from when you were there. It's why I live away from Tacoma now, here on the Kitsap Peninsula. But I do miss living in town, though.

I had a couple of hours nap this early evening. Will probably hit the hay about midnight now.
