Manic Monday not so Manic

Today has been a pretty good Monday. The twins had speech therapy and nothing major happened. It was nice to wake up to rain. It certainly cooled us off. Of course the humidity came right back but the temps were in the 80's instead of the 90's! That was quite a relief. When I first woke up this morning the sun was behind the clouds and the rain almost made it look as if fall had arrived early. We had a good weekend. Nothing major happened. I got a good grocery haul in and a trip to CVS in as well. With coupons and my CVS Reward Bucks I ended up paying $1.14 out of pocket for two packs of Pampers and a candy bar. Not too bad of a good shopping trip. Not as luck at Food Lion but I did save around $30 there as well.

How has your Monday been?

It's been a pretty good day, here--sunny and warm but not humid. I took my friend's dad to the hospital for his radiation treatment, and tonight I'm planning to bake a whole lot of cookies for the weekend parties.

The rain helps out so much doesn't it? I am so glad we got some. Of course this next week is going to be torture probably.

You have a really good reason to enjoy your Monday then. Much better than being stressed out and going back to work. Do you ever feel as if your Tuesday is just like a Monday?

Nice of you to chip in and help with your friends dad. What sort of weekend parties are going to be happening? It sounds like fun.

On Friday night we all got together to play board games, and then on Saturday, we got together to work on arts and crafts. Today we're going to collect coupons for the military, but at least that's being held at Panera, so they can do the baking!

If you can save a dollar its amazing these days, but saving thirty is even better ....... I drove to Las Cruces last week where the organic food prices are much more reasonable then here in this region of TX, organic cheese there was only 4.99 whereas here it would be 6.99, I stocked up.
