A Sleepless Night Produced Results in Other Areas

I stayed awake much of the night. I dozed off a few times last night on the couch while watching several episodes of The Good Wife: Season 2 . I was able to get through five episodes after I came home from dinner with a friend/colleague. I finally went to bed about 1:00 a.m.

I checked my e-mail, and then decided to come over here. I dozed off a few times for a few minutes here in my bed with my laptop on my lap, mid-articles I was reading. I managed to get through and comment on 99 percent of all the new posts that my connections have written in the last two days (or whatever the time frame of the notifications covers). I likely did not get an hour of combined sleep.

In the last 30 minutes, I have tried to read all of the post comments you left. I decided not to comment on each of these. It is much too hard for me to do this at the 100 percent level.

As has been recently noticed, when I post several times, but do not interact much due to my schedule, I will have a 24-hour period where I collect only 30 or so coins. When I spend several hours interacting, I have results that put me near or at the 100-coin mark for the same period.

Yesterday morning, at the end of a 26-hour period, my coin total increased only by 39 coins.

This morning, at the 21-hour mark from yesterday's first post of my day, you will see a much different result (below).

I simply cannot keep up the pace of pulling all-nighters to read. I will be glad when this particular challenge is over.

Thanks to all who continue to read, cheer me on, and support me in my wild, crazy efforts to make a difference here at Persona Paper!

That's too analytical for me! I want to write more and enjoy the comments as I think they help me refine what I do

Only when I have a very solid goal in mind do I get so analytical. emoticon :winking: This goal is important to me.

I actually do think what I am doing is fun, because of this particular goal. I am driven toward this one. You might see something quite different after I turn 60. emoticon :winking:

You can only do what you're able to do, and your sleep -- and overall health -- have to come first. I applaud you for your perseverance in reaching this goal, I just hope it doesn't challenge your physical reserves along the way.

You did a lot of catching up there. I hope you can do more steady for the next few days. That would be a lot less stressful

Hey, if you ever need to skip over someone, I'll understand.😋

I try to stay online as late as possible. But either my brain or my body decides that it is enough. Although I might not be happy with that I have to go along. I also try to get on early when I wake up, but that always turns into something else. Maybe an interruption or for some reason I get tired again. Not good. I feel like maybe I should just put myself in a hospital for awhile. That way I will rest and possibly lose weight.

I'm continuing my effort to make sure I view and comment on all your posts. I'd like to see you meet your stretch goal.

I am trying to read as much and answer as much as I can on this site.

Sometimes sleepless nights just happen. I had one last night and got up about 3am, posted and read and then went back to bed and slept in!

Good luck in meeting your goal and I'm sure you will make it with your hard work. I have noticed that the key to getting coins here is doing an awfully lot of commenting on followers' posts and their replies to your comments.
