Happy 7 Month Anniversary To Me and Persona Paper

I was just about to call it a night when I glanced at my profile page to see what my coin count was up to (5,198) and noticed that today is the seven month anniversary of my joining Persona Paper. It hardly seems that it was that long ago but I joined just after the New Year started.

To date I have posted one hundred and seventy-four articles. This will be my one hundred and seventy-fifth. If I am not mistaken, being this is my sixth post for today, I will also be setting a personal best for the most articles posted by me on Persona Paper in one day. If I want that record to stand I'd better hurry up and finish this post as midnight here in the EDT Zone is less than 3/4 of an hour away.

Congratulations and Happy seventh month anniversary. I'll also hit seven months later in August, but I haven't as many coins as you because you have written almost double of what I have posted . I haven't posted more than two in one day.

I shall take that as inspiration, I really want to get more into writing

Congratulations! I wish I could be like you that can post articles as many. At August 8 will be my seventh month anniversary also. :)

It's only because of summer break I've been able to post more than one or two a day. We'll see how I do in two weeks when school gets back in session.

DWDavisRSL wrote on August 3, 2015, 10:51 PM

I'm glad to read you're going to write more.

DWDavisRSL wrote on August 3, 2015, 10:53 PM

I hope to be more productive these next seven months, and to cash out at least once.

When school gets back in session in a couple weeks my productivity may go down, but I will remain as active as I can.

I bet you can cash out before seven months is up

Will you be teaching social studies this year?

CoralLevang wrote on August 5, 2015, 2:59 PM

Congratulations on your milestones! It's been enjoyable being part of it!

DWDavisRSL wrote on August 5, 2015, 4:48 PM

I will be teaching social studies this fall and science in the spring. Social studies starts with the Age of Exploration and goes right up to the present.

I hope you are right. Not that I'm counting on the money to pay the bills but it would be nice to have a little more in my PayPal account.

I'm glad that you've been along for the journey and hope you'll be around for more milestones.

Is the curriculum geared more to world history rather than US history? Also, are you able to suggest your own interpretation or are bound to follow what is politically correct in the textbook?

DWDavisRSL wrote on August 6, 2015, 3:37 PM

Sixth and Seventh Grades concentrate on world history. In the Eighth Grade they get a focus on US History. The beauty of the legislature not providing funding for text books is that I pretty much get to present history the way I think is best, from as many sides as I can, and in as unbiased a manner as I am able.

Paulie wrote on August 6, 2015, 10:39 PM

It is really great that you can present history in an unbiased manner and let the kids make their own judgements.
