Cruisin' Music

On my way to a client meeting. On the road. No traffic so far. Thank you traffic gods!

Right now listening to some Cypress Hill, some Wu-tang Clan, a little bit of Miles Davis, and lots of Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Sublime. Can't say that I could have made a better track list for the road. Just enough mix of rap, rock, funk, and jazz. I'd listen to some Britney and Miley if I had some. LOL!

Most appropriate song-moment experience (I just made up that word 'song-moment) was Holy Week 2010. Barren EDSA. No other cars. No traffic whatsoever. That was the time when road reblocking didn't cause an inconvenience.

Listening to '99 Red Balloons' as we were speeding at 180 kph. Blasting out of the car speakers is more appropriate but you get my drift.

Good times!

Were you really speeding at 180 mph or was it 180kmp? I have never driven that fast!

180 kph... it was a typo, although, now I'm intrigued how it feels to drive at 180 mph!

Maybe it is similar to a speed that an airplane makes when it is taking off.

I would be more apt to put on one CD of one particular artist at a time.

Tower of Power is one of my go-tos

I have to look them up. I've heard of them but haven't listened to any of their albums.
