My week of Fixing Stuff was borked

My week off thus far has consisted of:
Writing up a storm, listing eBay sales, sorting out, washing up, cleaning, laundry, recycling. All going well.
Until I decided to involve Other People in my plans. My wonderful ironing service boss showed up tonight, but we didn't hear him banging on the door (note to self: get the darn doorbell fixed! Your local handyman needs some more work to pay for his baby daughter's medical bills!)
So he rang the mobile. Neither of us made it in time - supper was in full flow and we were both busy prepping it. Eventually he texted and I padded out to meet him. £1 a t-shirt later, we had the next month's ironing on the way. Back tomorrow, so I'd better keep my ears sharpened and my credit card to the fore.
The bank was equally as confwizzled. Gave me an appointment to see one of their staff at 2.30, told me to show up at 2.00. I duly darkened their doors at the requisite earlier time (*cue theme from The Good The Bad and The Ugly*) to no avail. I sat there until 2.45 with not a shred of interest being shown by any of the staff. To be fair, they were busy, but I did have an appointment.
Eventually, after approaching the second staff member in succession, I was given an official appointment for Saturday. A lot quicker than I had expected, as the usual waiting time is 10 days. But I am a long term customer and I was let down today, so the loyalty eventually paid off.
However, having spent the morning preparing a detailed spreadsheet of my finances , I felt a little deflated. So not quite as much was fixed today as I hoped, but we have supper for tomorrow planned, a freebie supper for next week from yesterday's leftovers waiting in the freezer and the ironing on the way back tomorrow.
Tomorrow I am going to be amwriting madly as I have 7 articles to get through in the next 48 hours. It's Friday so I will need to be making pizza for supper. There are the remnants of the dishes to finish washing up, another load of washing to launder and various bits to bring in from the car.
Plus I have to go and see the managers at the Post Office about various things, which means another trip into town. At least I will be able to post anything sold on eBay in the next few hours when I pass the box on the way in.
The weather has just borked as well - thunderstorm outside right now - although no real break in sight this week. More hot, humid, sunny conditions forecast for the next few days.
(Typing awriting is a charm: another review request just landed.)

I see you have lots of hashtags included. Are they all charms?

We have pizza on Fridays, too! My husband makes it, though; bless him. If my bank told me to come half an hour early for an appointment, I would look at them as though they were mad. What's the point? I might expect to wait, but I'd show up at the stated time.

Nope, just the amwriting one. The others simply indicate regular topics of mine for people to follow if they wish.

I dragged Mr C in with me yesterday and we finally saw the senior lender. TWO HOURS later everything was sorted and we left very happy.
