The Difference 32 Hours Has Made

Many people want to know what their potential is to be successful here at Persona Paper. I have devoted a bit of my time here lately, as I am approaching my first payout of $20, to sharing the progress. My purpose of doing so is two-fold.

Firstly, it gives me a way to measure what I need to do to step up, if I am falling behind. It gives me focus for my ultimate goal of reaching pay-out by my milestone birthday on August 10th.

It also gives me some accountability. You, my readers, keep me motivated when you share your words of support.

Secondly, I try to detail what I do or have done to show my fellow writers what they can achieve or expect, if they were to set a goal and break it down into bite-sized pieces. It is my hope that, by my doing so, I can offer you some motivation to "go for it!"

In the last 32 hours since I wrote my last Persona Paper update Three Dollars and Some Change , I have gone from $16.73 to $16.90. This may not seem like very much, but it is growth, especially since I have not submitted anything in the last 24 hours. (When I am working, I am unable to spend much time writing those three days. I do try to keep up with all notifications, however.)

I set a goal to make my payout by my birthday requiring 13,334 coins, and at midnight as we began July 1st, my coin total was 10,588. My stretch goal is 15,000 coins. Nearly a full seven days (three more hours), my coins are now at 11,264. So, this means I have earned 676 coins thus far, or 96.6 coins daily average.

With 34 days left until my birthday, if I were to earn the same number of coins on average, I will earn an additional 3284 coins. Added to my existing 11,264, this will total 14,548 coins, more than enough to cash out, but coming up shy on the stretch goal. The bare minimum needed on average each day to reach the payout goal is

So, I am averaging the nearly 100 per day challenged I gave myself in at the beginning of the month. I was a bit over that, though not having the time to write between the holiday and work has caused it to dip a little. Even so, I am still on target.

I take care of all notifications first and then think about writing something new.

What one needs is determination and I can already see you have loads of it. Egg on emoticon

As I've said before, so long as a challenge doesn't become an obsession or an excuse to crow or lament depending on how successful one is, there's nothing wrong with pushing yourself to see what you can do. However, as you did, I'll wait until I'm closer to the objective to start running for the tape. Sprinting too early in a marathon can... Well, let's just say that timing is everything.

You are doing great and I am sure you will be back to an average of 100 soon if you wish too

I applaud you on your steady progress toward your goal and on the tenacity you show toward reaching it. You've inspired me to be more proactive here on the site and it has paid off. Each of the last three days I have seen a steady increase in the number of coins earned. Thank you.

I think your best bets for earnings are posts like this, because everyone is interested in seeing what works for people, and SEO-oriented articles, so you can suck up stuff off the internet at large, if possible.
