FOPP Project for July - The Juggling of the Three

Sorry to be getting a bit of a late start on July, but, as with the FOPP project for June , this is one you can start any time and, hopefully, continue forever--or, hey, 'til whenever (if you didn't see the project for June, just click the above link--you can do that one, too). Did anyone manage to do the Front Page Challenge? I haven't done every article yet, but it did start me in the habit of working from the bottom of the page up, so as not to miss anything in the feed.

As I mentioned in that article, out of the 50 articles featured in the front-page feed, only three by any one writer will be shown at a time (if you publish a fourth post while you already have three, the newest one will knock off your oldest one). So for maximum exposure on the front page, my recommendation is to write however many posts you will need to keep three on the front page at any given time. Sometimes, the feed moves pretty slowly, and it doesn't even replace itself in a whole day. Other times, you may skip a day and notice that all of your posts are gone, even the newest one.

So, it's kind of a juggling act to keep three posts visible on the front page, kind of like keeping three balls in the air. So, my challenge to you, FOPPsters and non-FOPPsters alike, is to join the jiggly, joggly juggle, and vow that, whenever you have fewer than three posts on the front page, you will make up the difference.

Like last month's challenge, this one gets more challenging the more people participate, because the feed will start to go faster. Those of you who are participating in the challenge by carolscash to produce 100 posts in week will surely be excited by that, as this will be a breeze to do concurrently, but for many of us, having three posts on the front page at all times might be just the kick we need to come up with that next post!

I was AWOL for a long time so I'm looking at the FOPP challenges that are up and running. Can't wait to start!

You are asking for trouble. I will hog the front page every day in July emoticon

Yes, I managed June's challenge - ONCE! Will try this one but may not manage at present. Great challenges emoticon

I think both the June and July challenges are great ideas. Unfortunately for me, I haven't had a post in my head to write in so long, I'm not sure I remember how. It's time to get back in the saddle, though, so will consider these ideas.

I'm glad to see you so enthusiastic to get back into it!

You can try, but you can only have three spots!

Yay! I think I did about 20 or so. I'll bet you can do this one at least once or twice before the month is up, but you can always try any time. Thank you!

Hey, I miss you! I'm sorry you haven't felt inspired to write, lately. Maybe you can try a song challenge day or two, if you don't want to do the whole series.

Did the front page challenge yesterday. Didn't manage to finish it though. Will give it a go again today.

Okay, I'm going to display my acronymatic (Yes, I made up that word. I'm allowed. I'm a writer and have a literary license.) ignorance. What does FOPP stand for?
