Happy Canada Day

Good morning to everybody here on Persona Paper. I do not know if there are any Canadians writing on the site but I wanted to be one of the first Canadian to wish all Canadians Persona Paper members a very 148th Happy Canada Day today July 1st. I am a French Canadian first and then an English Canadian and very proud of it.

Did anybody know that the longest international border lies between us, Canada and the USA. Compared to the US, Canada is basically still in its infancy when it comes to army, navy and air force. But we make up in determination, strength of character and perseverance. Oh yes, we have Chris Hadfield who went into space and was for some time commander of the International Space Station. We also have Shania Twain who is one of approximately 50 or 57 Canadian with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

But everyone one of us who is a resident of Canada brings something special to this great nation of ours. We are a multicultural country but with a strong backbone of descendants of the early Irish, English and French settlers.

So. if there are any Canadians on the site, do not forget to raise your flag and sing "Oh Canada" today. And then on the 4th of July we can help our neighbours, the Americans, celebrate their birthday.
