100 Posts in a Week: Am I Crazy to Even Attempt It?
A fellow writer here at Persona Paper, carolscash , has asked us all if we would take on the challenge of writing one hundred articles over the next week. That's a pretty tall order, and she herself admits that she won't likely finish in the seven days she's allotted for it. But the goal is to get things moving, here on Persona Paper. And I do think that's a positive!
Have you ever noticed how many folks will comment on your articles, but when you want to go look for their latest content, they haven't written in over a week? Or a month? Or several months? That's too bad, because a lot of those who are kind of dropping out are really great writers. I miss hearing from them. Don't you?
In the Spirit of Sharing
Those 100 posts in a week work out to more than 14 posts per day. That's very close to the maximum (15 posts) that Persona Paper will allow us to publish in a day. And for most of us even when we're busy here, we probably only post half a dozen articles or fewer. So more than double that sounds nuts. Right?
But I want to accept this challenge, in a spirit of sharing more with this fabulous community that I've sometimes neglected for weeks at a time. I want to invest a little more in the only paid to write site that actually raised its rates this year, and the only one I'm aware of that pays out on $20 in just days of the request being made.
Posting more means more content for the site, and hopefully that will translate into more traffic and advertising revenue. It also means more opportunities for my fellow writers to earn by commenting on fresh content.
So I may not make the 14-15 posts per day. I may not even get to 100 posts if I keep at this for a month! But I'm sure going to do what I can.
Will you step up your participation on Persona Paper too?
