Good morning or whatever part of the day is for you. Today is Monday, June 22, 2015. The temperature is 64°F and the humidity is 92% at 4:55 a.m. PST (-8 GMT). Weather Underground shows sustained winds at 0 mph with gusts of 2.2 mph. It was overcast when I stuck my head out. Weather Underground is predicting a 0% chance of precipitation and a high of 86° (“cooler than yesterday”) today.
For the past couple of nights, Mr. Siduri and I have been going out take a peek at the crescent moon with Venus, Jupiter and Regulus lined up. It doesn’t “mean” anything. It’s just that from our perspective on earth, they appear to be in a line. It looks pretty. It’s over with now for the most part, but it was nice to watch for the handful of night they were up.
Got the review of Writing Fantasy& Science Fiction up. Can’t say that it’s taking Examiner by storm.
Today, I go to the library and see if I can’t get the next Hardy Boys book. It’s one I’ve never read. It takes me a day or two to read them. Then I review it on Examiner. I forgot how much fun these are even with all their shortcomings, plot holes and improbabilities.
Mr. Siduri has started painting the stairwell and upstairs. He will also have to rework the electrical to bring it up to code. He wants to do that before laying the carpet up there for convenience’s sake. He’s not an electrician and will have to bring in a licensed electrician to finish it. Boy, this home improvement project is going to get expensive.
Thanks for reading. Hope you and yours are all well and happy. Hope the day brings you good things.
Off to write another day—
1. Spend an hour with Siegfried.
2. Read for an hour.
4. Continue looking for markets for “Dirt.”
