Over 300,000 Italians in Rome protest Same-sex Marriage

Italians gather against gay marriage
Whilst marchers this weekend in London fought austerity, and others drew attention to the plight of refugees , protesters in Rome tried to stem the tide of same-sex marriage legislation across Europe, which the the European Union is encouraging all nations to adopt. Italy - the heart of Roman Catholicism, is struggling with the move, despite several mayors such as those of Rome and Milan sanctioning and recognising same-sex unions.
Hundreds of thousands filled the Italian capital to "defend our children" and suggesting that a " mother without a father is like Nutella without bread ".
Equal Marriage
Of course it not always simply "same-sex" or "gay/lesbian" when one factors in bisexual, trans, non-binary or intersex people. Marriage, for those that want it, is equal when it is open to all people irrespective of sex, gender, or orientation.
Gender Education
Many also complained about schools teaching about same-sex parents and unacceptable "theories of gender".

Many Roman Catholics are conservative in their religious beliefs, what do you expect? Of course they are going to be against same sex marriage.
