My Day at the Library

I was surprised to hear that Downton Abbey Season 4 was available for me to pick up this morning from my library. I had placed it on hold a few months ago.

I have also learned that I am next in line for the Boardwalk Empire Season 4, so that was the consolation for me as I cancelled the hold on Season 5 that came in this week. I did place my name back in the queue for the last season. I am 14th in line.

So, instead of being transported to the boardwalk of Atlantic City this week, I will be going back to England.

I have not started to watch Downton Abbey yet today, but will do so sometime tomorrow to watch the first couple of episodes. I was troubled by the cliffhanger in Season 3 and am anxious to see how they go beyond the troubles at Downton.

Ha, ha, your day at the library is so different from mine. I go there to research old newspapers and borrow books to read for book club.

I seldom borrow videos from the library. I like to read newspapers and magazines there, and I like to borrow books.

CoralLevang Nice!!! I think binge watching these shows is the way to go. We can watch when we want and control how we watch them. That's why I love Netflix with some shows. I can just go in there and watch one after the other. I did that with Lily Hammer. That is a great show. I think that is now finished though.

inertia4 Binge watching is not much different to me than going to see a double feature film somewhere. I agree, it's the way to go.

CoralLevang I love watching these shows without commercials. I cannot stand commercials. Now if I try to watch something on TV I cringe and stop watching. Way too many commercials.
