Empty Nest Syndrone

The time is drawing near when my youngest son will leave home. He currently lives along with his girlfriend in my home. They have a little one on the way and need to find a place of their own. {Their decision} . I must admit having a small crying baby and all that washing would be to much for me and his dad. I cannot help feel sad , but happy he has been able to find a full time permanent position where he earns enough to move out. It does seem strange to hear him making plans with his girlfriend. I will miss her as well. I keep thinking half the washing. Half the shopping. Maybe it is time for him to move on and make his own life. I just feel sad.

I hope you get to visit them often while everyne also gets to enjoy their own space. ( And do their own laundry.)

I am sure they will live nearby you so that if they go to work, they can send baby to your place. It is time for him to become an adult parent. Let him go. It is the nature of the course

There comes a time when it's best for couples to be on their own - especially if a little one is coming.

Maybe its because your gonna stuffer from not having your baby around so much? No matter how old they get they will always be your baby .

I hope they come back to see me as well. I must admit the washing pile is a bit of a pain. But then you do suffer for the love of your kids.It will be nice to have some time with hubby. When he came to live with me I had two teenage kids and he had two cats. So we have never had any time on our own. We are looking forward to it.

They are not moving far but have to move into the nearest town as the rents around here are so high. They have already asked me to help with the baby. I am looking forward to having a little one again.
