IT'S BEEN AWHILE!

Haven't been here in awhile and could give a million reasons and excuses but just accept my apology!

Right now I am fighting a broken kneecap--yes, I did the old person thing of not watching where I was going, tripped and landed on my knee. Seems it will be take 6 weeks to heal and meanwhile I have to keep the leg stretched out straight at all times--ain't easy my friends even with a Velcro metal 'cast'.

Though it is 8 months away I am very busy getting set for my 20th Leap Year birthday on Monday February 29, 2016. On that evening I will be hosting a dinner at the Cafe Vico Cafe here in Fort Lauderdale, one of my favorite restaurants. (Take a look at their web site.) The evening before the Oscars will be held so I have rented out my community room on the premise and will host a Oscar Party--haven't decided whether to cater it with Chipolte or Subway or Boston Market--will eventually ask the guests to vote on it.

The final event will be the opening night of the touring company of "Kinky Boots" in Fort Lauderdale at the Broward Performing Arts Center--so as you can see a lot of planning ahead.
