What Should You Know About Sweeble App?
Sweeble app was announced on Bubblews at the end of January 2015, and at the time it was shrouded in mystery. All we knew was that it would be “different” from Bubblews, and that it was a social media app. After Arvind's announcement about Sweeble, I wrote the following report on another writing site, which has since closed.
Bubblews and Sweeble: What We Know
Sweeble is the latest project taken on by Bubblews CEO Arvind Dixit and his team. A new and completely separate product according to Dixit, the mobile app will instead complement from the social blogging site. On January 29th, Bubblews invited its users to sign up not for the app itself, but for “pre-registration.”
Those who sign up will receive a notification at some future time when the invitation-only app is ready for launch. Getting on the mailing list at this point reserves the user's spot in line and generates a unique invitation code, which the user is then prompted to share with “three or more” friends.
What is Sweeble?
The Bubblews CEO is vague about the purpose of the Sweeble mobile app , but hints that it will have something to do with communication and writing. “Sweeble will enter a slightly different market and medium for expressing oneself to the digital world,” Dixit says in his announcement.
We do know that the app will be optimized for iOS and Android, but that's about all the details that have been made available either on Bubblews or on the Sweeble app site.
Update: The Sweeble app was launched June 11, 2015
