Journal 06-07-2015

Good morning or whatever part of the day is for you. Today is Sunday June 7, 2015. The temperature is 59.3°F and the humidity is 85% at 4:03 a.m. PST (-8 GMT). Weather Underground shows sustained winds at 0 mph with gusts of 0 mph. It was cloudy when I stuck my head out. I saw a couple of stars, but mostly murky black. Weather Underground is predicting a 0% chance of precipitation and a high of 86° today. Oh, goodie.

I’ve been reworking the fairy tale. I’ve identified the last two remaining problems and think I can fix them today. I brought out the Writer’s Market and have been hunting down places that accept short fantasy fiction. Not many. And some of those that did are closed to submissions.

I just realized there is a $10 charge on my credit card account that I don’t recall making. That’s really very scary. Got off the phone with the credit card people. They’re going to close this account and send me a new card. That means I have a lot of updating to do. At least I don’t have any automatic payments on this card.

Off to write another day—

Thanks for reading. Hope you and yours are all well and happy. Hope the day brings you good things.

Writing schedule:

1. Work on fairy tale.

2. Spend an hour with Siegfried

3. Finish review for Examiner.

Glad it is only 10 dollars on your card. Someone tried to buy jewelry with hubbies one time. But they did not have the right phone number and everything has to match exactly on his.

OUCH. Glad that didn't go through.

I think what was happening was it was a test. A small amount to make sure the card was good and to see if I was paying attention. Then they can wreak havoc.

So tired of credit card and identity thieves. I say, tar and feather them. Give them a fair trial then beat the #($* out of them, make them watch as we drain their life savings and distribute it to food banks and homeless shelters around the world, and hang them.

I'm glad you caught that! People need to stop using others' hard-earned money and use their own. >:(

I hope your writing is going well! :)

Oh no, I am glad you caught that amount on your card in time, it could have been a lot worse. Have you considered looking on agentqueryconnect.com? They supply a list of agents that take various genres.

I am, too. I just wish I'd caught it sooner.

Thanks for the well wishes. It's going... slowly.

Never heard of that. Thanks for the tip!

I love your ideas for punishing them, except the money they have is not theirs and if possible needs to go back where it belongs first

It's a good site, I found it through a member of this horrible critique group I was a part of. I signed up and had some of my queries looked at and then I found out that two of my professors also recommend the site too. I haven't been there since I started class again last fall, but if you sign up, I think my name there is the same here, you should connect with me. That way if you have any questions, I can help, because the site can be a little difficult to navigate.

I did sign up. And I'm lost. Do you use the same user name you have here? I look for you first under that name and try to connect with you.

msiduri Okay, name there is Carmela and yes you found me, it shows we are friends.

*WHEW* Thought for a moment I made friends with a stranger. Actually, I recognized the four-legs.
