The blog will be live by the end of the week

Pleased (at least from my point of view) to announce that the blog will be live by the end of the week. The introductory post is already up. I have affiliates lined up and immediate advertising in place. Thanks to everyone who has offered advice, help, pointers, experience and more behind the scenes while I've been working on this.
I have enough material to start publishing previous reviews as well as ongoing with live and as yet unwritten work to provide fresh input while I add, categorise and publicise older posts behind the scenes.
If I don't get this project live now, while my dayjob work is quiet, I never will, because Thursday is the first meeting in the next audit cycle (the assessors won't give their opinion for some weeks yet but we need to assume positive so as to 'get ahead, get a hat'). Lookin'atcha Mister Penguin.
Then Saturday is the Study Day I am administrating, and that will be full-on B2W W-O-R-K for at least 8 hours. We have 180+ people attending - so far - and as this is the first one we have done for a while, the pressure is on.
Sunday will be amwriting day, if only because I will need to decompress and unwind after the lead up to the Study Day, which is proving to be pretty intense.
Maybe I should take a leaf out of the Penguin above's book and 'stay cool'?

Sounds like lot of work ahead of you (and your hat)

I've recently attempted to get back to my personal blogs - with little success! I'm glad you're doing better than I am

Good luck with your blog
. I'm also working on a few blogs. Can you share what kind of advertising networks and affiliates you're using (aside from AdSense, if you are using that. My blogs are pretty new so I can't use AdSense yet)?

Congratulations that your blog will be alive by the end of this week. You seem pretty busy with so many things.

How can we see your blog? Leave us some clues as i don't think we can promote our own blog here. I have recently set up my own blog on blogspot and would love to see how others approach this task.

Yes, there is a lot of work ahead. Regrettably as of mid-morning, the external auditors have rather kiboshed the quiet summer I was hoping for. My hat is firmly jammed on my head and the amwriting requirement is going to be scratched raw by the end of next week.

Well, I shut down my previous blog easily enough, but I realised that the subject (or rather the lack of focus) was what caused it to perform so poorly. Now, with the benefit of experience, I can see where my existing body of work may fit better than it was being showcased before.

Who says I'm doing better than you, Ruby3881 ? One post does not make a blog. I'm not attempting to be Jen from People I Want To Punch In The Throat, but I simply need one home base for all my current reviews (and my back catalogue of resort and sightseeing reviews too) rather than having them spread out over several sites - last count it was five different sites which made things a little fragmented!

Good luck with your blogs too. *high five* There are several affiliate networks which you can sign up with to align with your blog. I'm sure you can find some more information via a search. I had an affiliate for student textbooks on my last blog, which was about writing. I'm using Blogger so I have Google AdSense and Amazon Associates as well as a few others which will come out in the next few weeks.

I have to keep busy or I would be worrying about everything. And me worrying is not a pretty sight! The blog has been something I have been meaning to do for a long while, but with dayjob deadlines I lacked the time until recently.

Link to the first post is in the article. More than that, I don't know I'm allowed to say, as you mention.

This is a very well written post. I am glad to see that you are being productive on your blog.

Thanks. I'm using Aмаzоп already. Yeah, am currently looking for more affiliate and ad networks to try.

Thank you MelissaE . I shall expect to see your comments on the blog in due course! No point in having a teacher on my feed if I can't make use of you, eh? The second post went live just now but judging by the amount of tinkering I did to the first one while writing the new one, post 2 is not done yet!
