My Thursday Workday

I just made a post last night about how I cannot be on here every day, and hereeeeeeee I am. I have a few minutes to kill so I think I'll post a bit.

Babysitting has been so-so today. It happens. The little guy should be picked up any minute ago. Once he is gone, I'm grabbing a quick shower, making a coffee and then HOLY WORKLOAD BATMAN.

I grabbed an assignment off the board last night, but then I received several direct assignments. I just checked, and I have seven direct assignments to work on today. I did the assignment I grabbed last night, and probably didn't need to grab the one I just grabbed, but I like the topic and the pay, sooo I grabbed it.

Oh and by the way, when I say I "grabbed an assignment," I mean I grabbed one off the job board. You can only grab one at a time, so I had to finish the one I grabbed last night before grabbing the one I just took a few minutes ago. Direct assignments are sent to me by my client (usually the same one I grab the regular assignments from), and they're MINE. I don't have to worry about another author taking that particular assignment, because it sits in MY drafts.

I'm hoping I don't receive anymore direct assignments, but I also have 24-hours to accept or decline them. I never decline; the only time I did was when my late-Daddy was in the hospital, and they understood. But anyways, if I receive anymore, I'll accept them before I go to bed and work on them tomorrow.

Sooo yeah, my plan is to just get my work done this afternoon. I don't think I'm gonna have to worry about feeling sluggish because that quick shower and my coffee will wake me up.

I hope you all have had a great day so far, and remember...the weekend is almost here. Take care!

That sounds like you make good pay off the freelance writing jobs you do. That's great but I presume it's not enough to be able to give up the babysitting?

Thanks! I have to write a lot per week though.
Oh no, I can give up babysitting if I wanted to. I have been at this way before I started babysitting lol. My babysitting is more of a favor to my best friend, but she does pay because I have to balance it with writing and I can't afford to do that for free.
