Slight Rant about Driving and Texting/Cell Phones While Driving
While I'm out and about I've seen it, my kids have pointed it out--people on their cell phones. It isn't constantly, but it doesn't have to be. It doesn't just annoy me, it scares me. You can't control what other people do. You can only react to them and drive the best you can to avoid any potential accident. Even those who think they're the most careful drivers--I'm to where I'm not sure I care how careful you think you are.
Twenty years ago cell phones and talking or texting while driving did not exist. I wish it still didn't, at least while driving. People drive distracted enough without adding cell phones to it.
If you absolutely must check a phone call, pull over on the side of the road to be more safe. Or slide into a parking lot. Yeah, it's a little inconvenient on time, but it's a lot safer. It's not worth a care accident or someone's life to answer that phone call or text back.
Rant done for the moment...
