One Thing After Another
I am sure you all remember me posting that we had flus and other illnesses (Fifths disease) and then things kept getting worse. I broke my toe, as I previously wrote about and well, it just seems to be one thing after another.
It looks as though one of us will spend some time at an orthopedic this week. No, it's not for me! Our daughter, the gymnast, broke her finger at gymnastics training on Friday evening. I spent time in the ER with her Friday evening. Her middle finger was really swollen. It's never fun getting a call saying that your child was hurt.
Our truck also stopped working on Friday evening, so things are just sucking for us this year it seems! I hope that we get a break soon and things actually start looking up for us.
We do apologize for any stalling this does on our end. Send us good luck wishes that when June comes around, we have a better last half of the year!

Yes, when it rains it pours and bad luck always seems to come to bunches. Yes, I really hope that your luck does turn around and things are all looking up during the last half of the year.

Sometimes it just does not rain but pours. It will soon subside.

When you hit times such as this, you make sure to have a life vest on, put yourself so that you're going feet first downstream, and try to keep your head above water. That's about all you can do until the current subsides and you can start fishing, enjoying the scenery, watching the wildlife, and otherwise not worry about going under.1

UM … you know a lot of us at this site have skills. I think you're not tapping a valuable resource – US! You probably think it would be in appropriate to ask. But it sure looks like you could use a helping hand. IS THERE ANYTHING ANY OF US CAN DO TO HELP YOU WITH THIS SITE? Some To Do Tasks that perhaps you can delegate? Its a thought. Hope you and your family get well soon!

MaeLou - I once tore the ligament in a finger. It's definitely not fun when fingers get hurt. We learn to appreciate them when that happens. I wish your daughter all the best for a speedy recovery.

It's something I have to ask elitecodex about. I'm not sure what members could do to help us out right now. Some members notify us if they see a post is plagiarized or there is questionable content or members. It helps, but it seems that we haven't really ran into many problems, it is just a matter of us looking like we aren't around, even if we are.1

I am sorry to hear your daughter broke her finger, hope it's not too painful and heals quickly. Hope the rest of the year goes well for you.
