Hi, My Name Is... Bubbling Over at Persona Paper

Well, it took me a few days to get here, to writing an introduction to all of you fine folks. But here I am and boy howdy am I glad to be here.

I’m seeing a bunch of family and friends from around the tubes and so thrilled for that, too.

I’ll try to keep this first post short and sweet but those of you who know me, might know I’m not good at that emoticon  but let’s just see how it shakes out, shall we...

My name is Sandra Lynn and I’m a writer from Portland, Maine. I haven’t been doing much of that lately, as I’ve been ill for most of the last year. The doctors who have been practicing on me still don’t know what’s wrong with me, but they are working on it and I’m still here so we’ll keep on keepin’ on.

To that end, I can’t write in the same way that I used to. So you won’t see me here, as much as there, or maybe over there... But I am excited about this new place and have enjoyed my time here so far...oh, but I’m getting ahead of myself...

I got married recently, to the man of my dreams. Seriously. I’ve often said, since falling in love with him some 8 years ago, that I had to kiss a LOT of frogs to get to my prince. Yes. Yes, I did. It’s been almost a month now since we tied the knot and we are blissfully happy, yessiree! Though, truth be told, people keep asking how wedded life is and I keep saying nothing much has changed. They keep looking at me as if I’m nuts (which, I am, a little - who isn’t a little?) but come ON??

After eight years, if we weren’t committed to each other...well. We couldn’t be happier. Because if we could, we would. Ya see? emoticon

I also have a beautiful daughter who is perfectly perfect in all the most imperfect ways, and I’m sure I’ll be sharing some or more about her here, too.

Anyway, I’ve said too much and not nearly enough. And all I really wanted to say is HI, my name is Sandra Lynn and I am bubbling over to be here at Persona Paper.

I’m looking forward to meeting new folks and reconnecting with old friends and I am SO VERY HAPPY to have this new place with which to do so.

I like your Bubbling over style of a pos here, and wish you nothing but the best out here on the WWW. Sorry to hear about you getting ill and all, but yeah it happens to the best of us right! COngrat's on getting married though, that's awesome. I been married now for about 4 years and it feels good to be with the woman I love, and so I know the feeling you have now about your hubby.

Let's have fun out here why don't we, I just joined today, and thanks to a friend of mine who recently joined here as well known as SimeyC. I am so happy to be here as well, it has a good feel to it at Persona Paper. I also like the rules I just got done reading it all, and the policies seem reasonable here. Catch you around Sandra, nice to meet cha!

I think I saw your name on bubblews, too. But I don't know if we are connected there or not. Anyways, I am happy to see that you are excited about this site, too, just like I am. And I am glad that you are happy in your offline life.

Congratulations on your marriage! So many people these days are choosing just to live together. I always find it encouraging when I hear that a coup;e has decided to marry. Call me old fashioned, but I think that taking that extra step says a lot about your commitment to one another. Whether it's a church wedding or a civil ceremony doesn't matter. It's the vows that count.

Thank you for your congrats, :) I must say, we knew from day one that we'd be walking that aisle someday. That we waited till now was actually the perfect time. The symbolism surrounding our marriage is incredible and someday soon I will share it here. :) Thanks again for your lovely thoughts - we are very happy and I am very proud to call him my husband emoticon
