Peeking in...Keeping Account Alive...You Don't Have To Read It!
Life continues apace. The sun comes up each morning, the birds chatter unceasingly, and the grass grows. And grows. And grows some more.
We went from winter to summer with scarcely time to draw a breath during the course of the spring, which lasted a week, tops. That would have been last week when we had blue skies, puffy clouds, temperatures in the 70s and sweet, soft rains. This week we're pushing 90 with lots of humidity. Imagine being swaddled, head to toe, in a heavy wool blanket that has been dipped in hot water. Yes, it is that uncomfortable.
The office renovation is moving at a snail's pace but it is coming along. It really is within the realm of possibility to have it finished before the month is out.
Site Supervisors and Mentors for both Energy Express sites have been hired, supply orders are nearly ready. Bob Evans restaurant is holding an incredibly generous fundraiser for that program - five days a week, for four weeks, they will donate 15% of their sales to Energy Express, provided the customer hands them one of the flyers we are providing. 15% is HUGE!
The new Master Gardener class has commenced and the Master Gardeners themselves will hold their annual plant sale tomorrow - one more thing off the list.
Inquiries about the 4-H County Camp are beginning to roll in and, all in all, it looks like another successful summer for us.
This should be enough to keep me alive here for another month - now, I'm off to read some of you !

It's low as molasses here. I've still got quite a way to go to achieve a first redemption of a whopping twenty bucks. I'm fearing this site will never progress. It will be basically a token site for social interchanges.

It is getting hot here where we live. It seemed like the cooler Spring temps didn't last long.

You sound very busy. Glad your keeping your account active. I had two comments on my recent post but no increase in money. I like writing thankfully as the earning here is so slow.

It's to hit 90 here today but, after Monday, temps are supposed to go back to normal.

Our family is very busy with 4H right now too. I am also busy trying to keep our garden going and finding time to handle all the other things that life brings. Glad to see you here and will keep reading and doing some writing.
