Topic List 2: Anime
Going through the list of topics or subjects that are on the list here at Persona Paper, the second one is Anime.
The earliest "Anime" I remember watching (at least I think, I'm no expert) was Speed Racer. Looking back, that one's kind of funny. ;)
Another (I think that this may fall into the genre) was Star Blazers. It's a memory from my childhood, anywho.
There are a few anime nowadays that I like, though I must say that I prefer what I guess is the "cut" versions to the "uncut". I don't need to hear all the foul language and see the blood and stuff to get into the storyline.
I guess after Speed Racer, and this was several years later, the next anime I was introduced to was Sailor Moon. It was goofy at times (mainly due to the main character) but for me for the most part the story was good.
After that (from my perspective, at least) the whole anime genre seemed to be all over the place.
I enjoyed the first few arcs of One Piece, but then for me the series started going downhill--I guess mainly because all they show (in this area?) is the "uncut" version.
My current fave, though I think I preferred the first "part" to the second, is Naruto. 
For a knucklehead, he's a pretty good character, and the supporting characters are pretty darn good, too ("Believe it!").
I'm definitely not into any of what I guess would be called "Adult" anime. ;p Again, I don't need sex and cussing and blood and gore to enjoy a story line, and with that stuff I can guarantee I wouldn't enjoy it. ;(

I love anime but I like the Japanese anime, from Studio Ghibli, like Whisper of the heart, totoro, Princess Mononoke, Howl's moving castle, etc. They are all brilliant and good for children and adults alike.

I have heard of some of those, but not all. Studio Ghibli--I will have to look that up. :)

Naruto is awesome! I have watched the entire Naruto and Shippuden series in Japanese and love it! I started to re-watch it in English and fairly still like it (except for the whole "Believe it" bit.)
1I own many anime series. Some kiddish and some adult. The most popular I would say that I have seen the most of is DBZ and Sailor Moon mainly because I watched them on TV way before I bought the series'.
I refuse to watch "One Piece" Too long, boring and the art style has no appeal to me whatsoever.

I agree! Brilliant movies. I own all of the ones you mentioned except for "Totoro."

Yep, we all have what we like. You watched Naruto in Japanese? With subtitles, or do you understand the language?

After reading all the articles in Anime section, I should probably find a series, and watch it, just to have a familiarity with it.
