Breaking news, grandma visits grandaughter

As most will be aware the Uk has just had another addition to the royal family, a princess has been born.

As you might expect there has been a lot of media coverage about the new Princess Charlotte, a baby who appears to look similar to other babies I have seen, but who will live a semi charmed life whilst never being able to do anything without the world knowing.

So the top news stories about her that have caught my eye this week,

1) Front page of a newspaper this week (although admittedly not headline news, but then we are in the middle of an election), the baby was visited by the Queen for 19 minutes. Not really breaking news in my opinion as surely most great grandmothers will at some point visit their new great grandchild. As for the 19 minutes I don't know if this was considered a lot of time or very little, I'm more curious about which sad person had nothing better to do than time it.

2) A zoo in Japan had a competition to name a new baby chimp, and the winning name was Charlotte after the new princess, personally I think it's quite cute. Apparently now though the very public who voted are complaining it's an insult.

3) There was a furore on Facebook about how good the duchess of Cambridge looked just hours after giving birth. Apparently there was some feeling that she was lucky to look that good, and that she may have palmed her baby of on a nanny. On this one I've got to feel sorry for her, I can only imagine how much pressure she is under to look good that soon after giving birth, so that she can be seen by the world with her smiling baby. I suspect it's a no win situation as if she had come out looking tired and awful she still would have been criticised. I hope she had lots of help, as with a role like hers I suspect she needs it.

So that's my breaking news.

I think the people in Japan felt it would be considered an insult by people in Britain. Personally I think it shows great interest and I don't consider it an insult. They can name their next baby monkey after me if they like and I would be delighted to see the little creature.

I think true love conquers all. And beside going in to the world of prince and princess is not really a good thing, but I guess if you found your prince or your princess everything you do to bring out each other best is an effortless even the hardship accompany to it will be just ignore, as long as everything is being accompany by love. That is the only thing I always think everytime I see the royal couples. Heheheh. God bless.

That's true if they love each other than she'll have all the support she needs.

I can only imagine what it would be like to have been born into that life. I think I would like hanging out with Harry, though. He's my kind of character.

It must be hard to be born into that life, and you're right Harry seems like a lot of fun :)
