Restoring Faith in Humanity...
"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle." -Plato
We cannot deny the fact that in our time, most people have become careless and insensitive about each other's feelings. We cannot deny the fact that we live in a sick society. We pick fights, we bully and break the other person with insulting words just for the heck of it, and yet, we always rant about how we should not be judgmental, how we should always be kind to other people, and blah blah blah.
You know it.
But when it comes down to it, we always do the exact opposite.
Just how hypocritical is that?
What do we get anyway from insulting other people?
Is it feeling that you're superior than them?
Is it feeling that you're better than them?
That is a load of crap.
How can you feel better if the words that you're throwing to other people might drive them to suicide?
How can you feel better knowing that you're responsible for someone's death?
Insulting and judging other people doesn't make you a better person, doing that just to make yourself feel better while making another person feel horrible is just heartless. Just because a person always seems happy doesn't mean that he/she will take all the sh*t that you put him/her through.
There's only so much that a person can take, and just because a person seems always happy on the outside, doesn't mean it's the same on the inside. Not every carefree person you meet are untroubled, sometimes it's just a pretense they put up to hide their real feelings. For this world to be a better place, we must all start the change in ourselves and encourage other people to do the same.
Even the happiest people become sad and even the kindest people can only take so much. When it comes down to it, we're all fighting our own demons.
So have heart.
