What Will You Do To Make Earth More Beautiful

Tomorrow, Or today! For some of you , is Earth Day! What will you do for our planet? Each year families , groups, companies, clubs, do something to beautify our wonderful earth. Some plant tree's, or gardens, while others clean road sides or parts of desert land. Others celebrate by sending up colorful balloons to signify earths beauty.

I think I am going to walk my Grandsons to the park tomorrow and we will watch the community center plant their annual tree. That will open up a great conversation on how we all can help keep our Earth beautiful, like not smoking on earth, and not littering. Then we will draw a picture when we get home about what we have learned.

Our Zoo is celebrating tomorrow also, all the animals will get special treats, like watermelons, and other fresh fruits and veggies wrapped in eatable leaf boxes. fun, fun, fun, I went last year, this year I will not go, it gets so crowded on special days, and since I'm there three to four times a week, I let the rest of the valley enjoy the celebrations there. So, what are you going to do to make Earth better?

I'll most likely keep up with my practice of recycling and reusing things. Of course, there is the matter of conserving electricity and water. The day at the zoo sounds like fun! I wish we had something like that!

We try to do Earth day everyday. We are trying to get off the grid and we always conserve water and recycle as much as possible. Regarding the title of your post I would say that my little family and I are doing everything in our power to keep the earth beautiful :)

All sorts of human activities are detrimental to Earth in one way or another. Maybe I just won't turn on the A/C even though it's really warm.

I don't understand how sending up balloons celebrates Earth day. Wouldn't the balloons end up littering or being tossed in the trash when they float down or are done being used?

I'm not trying to preach, I'm not exactly the most environmentally friendly person myself. I would love to be, and planting a garden and growing some of my own food is in my future plans, but not feasible at the moment. Some day I hope to reduce my footprint on this earth!

lmao yeah me too , me too! I am touched to see my own grown children raising their children like I did them. for sure, more people than not take care of our earth and that
is a good thing. about the balloons? yeah I dunno, I heard it on the news.

I try to recycle as much as I can. My family and I try not to keep the lights on too much. We don't waste water by turning it off right after we use the sink.

Sounds good to me. Maybe we should have an Earth year.
