Training Day

This isn't the Denzel Washington-Ethan Hawke stare silly. Although, that is a good movie and I recommend that you watch it if you haven't yet. One of my favorite lines in the movie was Denzel asking Ethan's character 'Are you a sheep or a wolf?'.

I'll be going to the gym tomorrow and it will be packed with training. First up is gi bjj training. This is a new thing for me so I'm excited and really looking forward to it. I'll be training with a lot of blue belts and hard that the class is considered a 'shark tank'. I can't wait. Immediately, after the gi training, in the same gym I'll jump in and start my mma training. I've been doing this for sometime already and I really want to improve my kicks and knee strikes plus my grappling and take down game. I've had a couple of sparring sessions and I got beat up badly in all previous ones. LOL! That hasn't stopped me though.

Next up is the no-gi bjj training. This is my favorite among the three!!! I'm really comfortable in this class as I've been attending this one the longest among the three. I think I'm showing some improvement in my guard and top game and hopefully I can further learn the art of bjj.

I'll also be doing some boxing and circuit training to wrap up my training day. I'm into all of these sports and physical activity because I want to have a healthier lifestyle plus I want to earn those eight pack abs!!! I'm kidding, I'll settle for six-pack abs!!!

Ooooosssssssssss!!!!

That sounds like an awful lot of work for a single day.

At 1.5 hours per session, except for the circuit training which was just half an hour, it ain't that bad.

That would kill me if I could even bring myself to do it.
