Technology Category Challenge

Continuing the . I really want to finish this category challenge within this month so I can start a new challenge like the (you thought I forgot about that, did you?).

Anyway, going to take on the Technology category? Here's one question, why did we have a separate category for Science and Technology? After all, science and technology go hand in hand right? Right! Anyway, so yeah, back in the day I was really interested in Science stuff... biology, chemistry (can you say Walter White?), not so much on physics but definitely a lot of interest in psychology (it is my major!). Hence, it came as no surprise that I was into a lot of technology as well. I'm a fan but not to the extent of wanting to have and own all the latest gadgets that come out every two minutes or so. LOL!

Anyway, I'm all for technological advancements, provided that it makes life easier for us not just in the short term but more importantly in the long term as well. Admittedly, we have had scientific discoveries and technological breakthroughs that made life more miserable for the general population and only made life better to the select few. For every new medicine we develop, we unleash a virus causing a deadly disease... for every life-saving device we come up with, we develop a weapon of mass destruction... for every device that we invent to make life easier, we have a 'smart-whatever' device that complicates life as we know it. Ultimately, it is up to us to make what science and technology has offered us to make life better.

If I remember right, I had created this challenge and the challenge was to do all categories in one day emoticon  I did it before challenging the community and so too some others were able to do it. .

I always thought science was more theoretical and technology more practical. But I still like both!

I live having new tech products but I rarely ever have the latest gadgets that come out. I have had the same cell phone that is a hunk of junk for about a year and a half. I have had the same hunk of junk computer for 10 years lol. My scanner/fax/copier is even older. My tvs are all over 4 years old at the newest.
