Guess I Was Right About The Ads On Persona Paper...

Today I came back and a curious ad from Alibaba stroke me - it was for a hunting decoy, a plastic model of a duck.
I was wondering why in the world would I get this ad. I don't hunt and I was never searching for this kind of a thing.
Then I remembered. My brother would love to have model bird made of wood and I wanted to surprise him and get one online. Among other sites, I searched Alibaba for wooden ducks and pigeons.
I guess they thought I wanted a hunting decoy and I was served this ad.
Furthermore, I then clicked on "more ad choices" and immediately confirmed what I was talking about in the previous article. The ads come from Google Double click and they are based on your browsing.
So, again, if you want Persona Paper to have better ads to suit you and to get paid more per view of the ad, then browse Alibaba.com, Amazon.com and Ebay.com for your favourite products and you'll see those ads appear :) (For now I only confirmed Alibaba but I'm certain the other two do the same thing).

It might have been from Amazon, but I notice that even when I simply pt things in Google search, I get products that match up with what I have been searching for. But like I said, it might have been because I used Amazon too.

Usually I don't pay any attention to the adverts here but since first reading this post I have paid attention and one of them has caught my eye and given me an idea for a post. Thanks.

Usually I do not pay much to the ads.But after reading your post ,I think there is some truth in your observations.

Hmmm, I do agree that the targeted ads are more appealing, but I don't know if we should be clicking on our ads, here--Google AdSense, for example, bans you if you click on the ads on your own blog. Not sure how the ad agencies that serve PP feel about members clicking. MaeLou , can you tell us anything about that?

If you browse stock related websites, you will get a lot of ads about ETFs and mutual funds.

Lately, I have not been seeing any ads on my page and I search on amazon and ebay all the time.
