Coming Up on $11

Persona Paper seems to be moving rather slowly. Fellow PP writer, JohnRoberts , recently wrote on how there are so many of us who are inactive, rather than active participants.

So many changes are happening in the way we all communicate today, and the feeling of what lies ahead for those of us who grew up reading books, writing cohesive papers, and learning the (lost) art of communication.

I believe that technology has changed the playing field, but the game changes so quickly that no one will be able to keep up with as quickly as is needed, unless one is a techno-geek. Mainstream users, even those who are tech-savvy, will eventually become too old and outdated.

Yet, there are a few of us "oldies but goodies" who value interaction, writing, and communication, in general. Even some of the "oldies" have left PP or are pursuing other situations and opportunities.

Despite it all, I am steadily working toward my $20 mark for payout, and am nearly to $11.

Sometimes, we have to celebrate the small victories in life.

I am amazed you have accumulated that many coins. One has to admire your never say die effort.

Congrats on your small victory! :)

Nice job! I do lament how slow it can get here. Seems to have so much potential that is not yet reached. Ah well, I do value the practice it gives me for my blog writing.

I'm actually finding it moving more quickly here than I imagined, though I have been spending a lot of time here. It's nearly three months since I joined and I should have reached the half way mark by then.

That's really great! Congrats! I too find that sometimes it does get a little slow. It seems as though some members are getting inactive.

I get so depressed during the winter months that I can't think of subject matter for posts. I am feeling rather good now with the nice weather we are having and I hope to be more active on here. I have a $3 in my bank so far. I will see how it grows over the summer now.

I have almost five dollars in the bank. If I posted more, then I could make more. Just keep plugging away.

I'm still rather new here but I am determined to make it work even if things do move a bit slowly at times. I'm a stay at home mom so I do have time to be as active as possible. I only have like 200 coins but I hope to see them make money babies soon.

I am active in commenting but not so much active because of my busy schedule. I am not posting new articles because my account is temporarily suspended.

Sometimes the others are active when we are sleeping. This is the problem of living in different time zone than the bulk of PPers.

Good for you! Reaching it ,I have a long way to go.But there again, as a native speaker of Chinese ,I haven't dreamed of making any money on an earning site .

Glad to hear that you are getting closer to goal. Technology is certainly moving quickly. And it is so easy to be left behind or to catch up sometimes. Many times I've had to ask my kids for some assistance.

This particular oldie was having major computer issues, but thanks to one of my genius friends who is an IT ninja, my laptop is back from the dead and ready to party!

You are kinda right! But I guess the inactive users has to go somewhere else just like me to earn a few bucks. Life is really hard for me and to others I guess and we need to do something about it to save our face in front of the mocking people, and specially to really have a penny in order to give something for our family or just to save our tummy and other basic needs. Congratulations again to this mile stones, I have read already your "current worth" post and it is cool to know you are soon to redeemed again.
