Bills Bills Everywhere

Every time I turn around, another bill. I finally finished the taxes up and so those checks all went in the mail. Bye bye money.

Then we realized the water bill is due, it's paid 3 months at a time, so more money out the door. Then there's the bloodwork bill from way back in November that I didn't even realize existed (thought it had been paid) but that showed up last week with a heft little $500 price tag. Oh, and the car insurance is due next week! So even though we had a good month income wise, more is still going out than coming in.

With unpaid maternity leave coming up, I need to really hit up my work from home job. I only had 10 billable hours last month, out of a possible 80, so this month I need to get to work on some of the things I've been putting off.

Sure would be nice to have a month where more comes in than goes out.... maybe April will be that month.

more money to spend for these few months, income tax, land taxes, GST taxes, all is about money. Have to earn more money

You are right. We're scraping by but so far we've been able to pay them all.

Sounds familiar—the bills, not the maternity. My wife had a health problem recently and her expenses went up and her income (and thus household income) went down. Luckily, antibodies are bringing her health back.
