Quick nail fix!

Thankfully for me the past few months my nails have been growing pretty well and much longer than they used to be, but they are still quite weak and chip/peel pretty easily.

Then we were at a friends house and they had one of those kind of arcade basketball games in their house and I was playing it with my other half when the ball bounced and hit my nail, bending it backwards at the free edge. It seemed like it didn't break but it did further down than the free edge and was not doing well!
I quickly cut down the nail and put a plaster to keep it safe until I got home.

The next day to keep my nail from getting any worse I decided to patch up the nail with a teabag since I don't have anything else on hand!

I washed my hands to remove any oil etc that may be on the nails and wiped the nail down clean, I filed it slightly so smooth it out being careful not to snag it. I cut out a small piece of the tea bag enough to cover the broken area. I put some nail glue on the area and spread it with the applicator to cover about half of the nail and applied the material with tweezers and pressed it down so there was no bumps, I let it dry and applied another coat of glue to completely secure the material down.

So I now have a secured nail that I can't snag or break any more than I already have on anything else until it manages to grow out over the edge.

I have never worried too much about my nails but I will remember that if I break one too far back.

My nails don't have to be completely perfect but it is something everyone sees and I studied beauty therapy for 4 years, it would be a waste after all that education to not have presentable nails

Breaking them too far back hurts! Always good to be able to fix them up

My nails grow well and I love to grow them out and paint them, but I hate it when one of them cracks and I end up having to cut them all off and start over.
