Introduction for Georgia_Gardener

I have been gardening for 40+ years and enjoying every minute of it! When I’m not actually plowing, planting, harvesting or otherwise tending to my garden, I enjoy writing about my gardening endeavors and teaching others about the joy of growing their own vegetables, fruits and flowers. I have written hundreds of ‘how-to’ type gardening articles and won several awards for my informative and engaging articles. The majority of my articles were published online at the now defunct Yahoo! Voices, but I'm still an active freelance writer for a few other online publications. I'm a certified Master Gardener and volunteer my time and gardening expertise to my community through my local county extension office.

I'm from Georgia, too, but I'm pretty clueless about gardening. It's very nice to meet you.

I hate my garden, full of weeds and tall grass plus the vegetables that had grown wild since my in law neglected them. I wish I could pull out the roots but some how the roots are still there
