Carpe Diem

First off, for me ideology pertains to one's personal ideas and beliefs. One's ideology determines how a person comes to a decision and is basically the fiber of the person's vision. It is how a person will live his life, do his deeds (or in my case misdeeds!!!), how he will act and reply in any given situation throw at him. I don't want my 'ideology' posts to be serious but rather I want to share the things - various things - from movies, to music, to books, to personal experiences that have shaped me and made me who I am today. So when you, my fellow PPers, read my posts, you'd have an understanding how I view the world and know me a bit better. Honestly, I'd like to know other people's views as well and what better way to start doing that than by sharing one of my own.

Here's my first and perhaps the one latin phrase that I turn to the most ... carpe diem .

Carpe diem is Latin for 'seize the day'. Straight forward, no qualms, no 'let me think about it' pauses.

Anyway, how many times have we postponed something in our life, perhaps it is trying out a new restaurant, going to see a foreign film, reading a book by an unknown author, or even saying to one person how important is she to us? Far too many times I guess.

Seize the moment!!!

Yes, I have a few carpe diem moments where I did NOT "CARPE" and later regretted it.
