No More Bubbling!

Didn't reach my goal. Had hoped to have published 100 bubbles by the end of March 2015. That's three months – January through March - about 33 posts per month. Missed it by 6! So as of today there are 94 bubbles with my name on them. The posts can be categorized under Food, Business, Entertainment (Movies and Music) and a catch-all bucket for rants, opinions, sharing interesting facts, etc.

Taking a break from Bubblews. My other and are showing signs of neglect. Can't let that happen because the sites have been up and running for several years. As the old sayings go: “Can't have too many irons in the fire” and when you do, “Something's gotta give!” Well last night, threw my hands up in the air and hollered; “I give!” So that's it for now. No more bubbling!

Won't be giving up on Persona Paper though. This site called InsiderPub wrote a really nice review. Persona Paper Review: Scam or Legit?

I wholeheartedly agree with their recommendation.

Do you have the same user name in bubble ooze? I should definitely check out your posts there. Also agree about the review written about Persona Paper. No bad reviews and it will stay like that!

I hope you're able to soon be caught up on your other commitments.

Hmm i am sorry to hear that you did not reach your goal on bubblews but its great that not giving up here

I'm getting to a point where I might "take a break" from the other site for awhile as well. I was going to leave entirely if I decided to stop contributing; but, for the moment, it might not be the best idea to walk away entirely. The problem seems to be that 'taking a break' usually means losing followers. Given slow traffic there at the moment, it's really tough to get 'em back.

i gave up bubblews 3-4 months ago, better stick to persona paper, legit site rather than that scam site

You have a ready "pen ".I visit Bubblews on and off due to the problem with logging in .I don't figure on their payment .The only reason I go to there is that I like to talk with some of my friends there .

I'm going to be spending some time this Easter sorting out my Bubblews listing too, once I'm done reviewing everything I'm being tipped off about. Then I can start work sorting out my blog, which needs to be revived, as you say about your sites, because it's been neglected, half built, for too long.

cmoneyspinner I haven't given up on Bubblews. I am still there. And I am here also. I love it here. I know it is not easy to juggle many sites, especially writing sites. I narrowed it down to these two sites. Anymore than that would boggle my brain. But the other sites I use are not writing sites and they too need to be paid attention to.

AliCanary wrote on April 2, 2015, 11:02 AM

I feel bad about neglecting my blogs, too. I know what you mean about having too many irons in the fire!

I used to be active on Bubblews as well, but when they decided not to pay the redemptions asked before November 11 I couldn't find any motivation to continue there, but I agree with you: we shouldn't focus completely on one site and neglect the others, because one day that site will let us down just like Bubblews did in my case and it's better to have alternatives available.

I don't know why anyone would continue writing in the bubble. Do these people not realize that they cancelled thousands of payments to hard working writers, including myself. They have disappointment after disappointment. Broken promises and a lousy writing platform. PP is 1000% better in all areas. I haven't posted here much, not because I don't want to, but for other reasons to many to explain.

cmoneyspinner wrote on April 2, 2015, 6:09 PM

Yes. Same user name. That was an awesome review!

cmoneyspinner wrote on April 2, 2015, 6:11 PM

I hope so. I did some dedicated work today on three of my blogs.

cmoneyspinner wrote on April 2, 2015, 6:19 PM

Activity and socializing at the site seems like a "crawl".

cmoneyspinner wrote on April 2, 2015, 6:22 PM

This site is easy to post, easy to comment and has visual appeal. Plus, I kind of like earning coins. For some reason the mechanism for earning money seems easily understandable and very simplified.

cmoneyspinner wrote on April 2, 2015, 6:26 PM

The site is up and running. My account is open. I still visit other bubbles from bubblers who aren't there any more. They didn't delete their work. So earning potential for the posts must still be there. If Bubblews disappears, so will my account. Otherwise my bubbles are there for visitors to read and perhaps they might generate some income.

Persona Paper is legitimate and the customer service is fabulous! If you ask PP Customer Support a question, you get an answer. Can't say the same for Bubblews.

cmoneyspinner wrote on April 2, 2015, 6:30 PM

Well of a truth, most of my Bubbling friends are here or in other online writing communities where I'm a member. So I don't need Bubblews to connect with them.

cmoneyspinner wrote on April 2, 2015, 6:34 PM

Fortunately, during the time in between, I learned more about Google Plus, Twitter, Facebook, etc. and how I can share my posts to a wider audience. Also checked on my affiliate links -- some had died. Stuff like that. I use Google Webmaster tools. I have not mastered them, but they are very helpful for tweaking and improving your websites and blogs.

cmoneyspinner wrote on April 2, 2015, 6:37 PM

I have not heard any complaints from those who left; or rather have not heard any of them say they regretted their decision to move on.

cmoneyspinner wrote on April 2, 2015, 6:46 PM

Oh yes! Have seen you are also active on Bubblews. Hey! Whatever works for you!

inertia4 wrote on April 2, 2015, 6:49 PM

cmoneyspinner Right. We all have to do what we feel is right for us.

cmoneyspinner wrote on April 2, 2015, 6:51 PM

It took me what felt like forever to finally get started with the freelance writing. Using a D.I.Y. website building app, several of my affiliate websites got started and then deleted and new ones were built to replace them. The blogging was a suggestion by my daughter. She said it would support my websites. Before I knew it I had all these projects going at the same time and didn't want to give up on any of them!

cmoneyspinner wrote on April 2, 2015, 6:56 PM

The good thing is that I enjoy the work. Just wish I could earn more money for all the effort. But I am earning some income so that motivates to keep on keeping on.

cmoneyspinner wrote on April 2, 2015, 7:07 PM

My first experience with Bubblews under the old platform was not pleasant. But I thought maybe I was the problem. I returned because there were so many conflicting stories and thought - $50 is $50 if I can get paid. It's still free to sign up, so I did! But there is no enthusiastic “vibe” at the site like here at PP, and it's probably because of all that has transpired. The future of Bubblews is a huge blank for me. (O.o) But you never know! Maybe they'll make payment to those who were not paid and fix their other screw-ups. Some companies rise like a phoenix from the ashes.

WordChazer wrote on April 3, 2015, 4:35 AM

Thanks for the advice cmoneyspinner . I have used Webmaster tools before so I'll have to hunt out my login and try again.

msiduri wrote on April 3, 2015, 11:22 AM

I do not write at Bubblews, but I pop in every so often to check on friends, to like and comment and to be, well, nosy. At the same time, I can't imagine a reason to post there ever again. I've copied all but a handful off posts and deleted all but a month's worth. My final post was a middle-finger salute good-bye for which I expected account deletion. That hasn't happened yet.

About the InsiderPub post, a couple of caveats: It says that Persona Paper is for everyone. Persona Paper is not accepting new members from a couple of countries—India and the Philippines, maybe more?—because of the lack of ad revenue in those countries. What makes it more striking to me is that the usage in the article makes me think that the author's first language is not English. After having said that, I must admit that the author did accurately portray the situation at Persona Papers w/respect to payment as I understand it.

Thanks for your remarks. I sort of thought the country restriction was a decision made after that review. Not sure. So thanks for pointing it out.

msiduri wrote on April 3, 2015, 7:02 PM

You may very well be right. Nevertheless, I wanted to note that it doesn't accurately reflect the current situation. That's all. Nothing more.
