Cynthia Lennon Dies from Cancer
Well, this really came in as a shock to me since I wasn't aware that John Lennon's first wife, Cynthia Lennon was battling with cancer in the first place. I have just read online that she already passed away while her son with John, Julian Lennon stayed at her bedside until her final breath.
I am fond of Cynthia Lennon actually and I find it absurd that John chose Yoko Ono instead of her. I mean, Cynthia Lennon was a very refined woman. The two met in school and no one thought that they are going to last since they are the exact opposites. They were together for almost ten years and had a son, Julian. Unfortunately, they divorced on 1968 after Cynthia Lennon found out that Yoko Ono was already pregnant.
I have seen a couple of her interviews and I think that she is a wonderful lady indeed and it was sad to know that cancer won against her. Ringo Starr and Sir Paul Mc Cartney has already posted their condolences over their social media page to let everyone else know that Cynthia has already passed away at the age of 75. May her soul rest in peace.
P.S. I really hate it when people die of a sickness like cancer. You spend money, exhaust all possible treatments but in the end, the freaking disease will still win. Just sad and unfair... just saying.

As a survivor of cancer, I can't agree with you more. It is disease that ruins lives and families.

Telynor Glad to know that you were able to outsmart cancer :) I can only wish that with the technology and knowledge we have now, we will soon find out what causes it and what's the cure.

Sure wasn't expecting to read this today. Hope Julian doesn't take it too hard. I suspect he and his mother were probably very close.

Cancer also killed Sir Paul's wife, Linda, who was such a good person, and took George Harrison too soon. It has taken both of my parents, and I hate the horrible disease.

It is sad to hear about her passing from cancer. May she rest in peace. I know how cancer can suck you dry with treatments and still kill a person in the end, nearly one month ago, my sister in law died of cancer at only age 57.

AliCanary I am sorry about your parents. Only if mankind would soon find out what causes it and it's cure/ I hope they do so soon.
