Update on My Easter Egg

I haven't been around much the past two weeks. I've been challenging myself beading trying to take my mind off my daughter's problems. I've been giving her a reflexology treatment every week and she was improving but not by much. She finally got in to see the Dr. and has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure, hypertension, and high cholesterol. As bad as that all sounds at 55, at least we know what the problems are. The Dr. put her on meds for each of the problems for three months and said if the symptoms cleared up, she could go back to her natural herbal regimen. Now I'm trying to get back into writing and beading because I want to rather than because I need to distract my mind.

In my post " Easter Egg " I showed you a picture of a cab I was bezeling with a tri-RAW rope. I was very pleased with the look of the rope around the cab, but when I closed the cab in, the cute little roll that had formed around the cab flatten out. Although I wasn't 100% pleased with it for that reason, I'm pretty proud to have finished it.

I'm now trying to get a tutorial drawn, but I keep running into problems illustrating how to weave the two ends together. My daughter laughs and says I just have a problem making circles. At least she's able to keep up her spirits and laugh.

Lol! I think that is a beauty and your talent should not end here as well. Heheheh. God bless and I hope you can prosper in selling those work of art that you made. I am starting to make something out of my hobbies and turn it into a profitable one. God bless.

Good luck on your venture. I feel like I'd sell more jewelry if I could do some good craft shows, but I'm not physically up to it and there aren't any good ones for jewelry here.

Thank you. And I'm very glad that she has a good outlook on life, no matter what it throws at her. They've been through a lot lately.

Thank you. I think she feels better knowing it's not something terminal.

A congestive heart failure? It doesn't sound good to me rather grim.

She was diagnosed with this about 20 years ago when she had pneumonia. It was declared a false alarm saying the lung inflammation had caused the sac around her heart to swell, squeezing the heart, but her health hasn't been all that good sense. Her Dr. is more concerned with her hypertension and is optimistic about recovery if she follows his orders; exercise, diet, and meds.

Sorry to hear about all of the problems your daughter is having. I hope the meds get her back on track. Love the Easter Egg! You are very talented.

Thank you Shellyann36 . I'm pretty pleased with the Easter Egg. My daughter is doing very well now. She has lost 30 lbs that her Dr. says was all water weight and feels that she still has more water weight to lose. She has some fat to lose too, but the blood pressure meds are helping a great deal to improve her mobility and stamina, so I'm confident she can get back down to a reasonable weight soo.
