Wear Your Personality

So at work, we usually come in with our suit and tie. Other times I rock a mean corporate ' barong tagalog ' (that's the acknowledged traditional costume for Filipinos). Of course, on weekends, I tend to dress down and come in with a shirt, sneakers, and denim pants. Dressing up really can be tiring at times but I don't want to go overboard and come in the office looking like I'm ready to party at various clubs and bars.So what do I do? I wear my personality in very little details. I wear a bow tie instead of a tie. I use matching cuff links and tie clip that are pirate-inspired. I wear argyle-designed socks (read more about it, Argyle Design - http://personapaper.com/article/24245-argyle-design---fashion---category-challenge ). Or polka-dot ones. Or striped ones with really outlandish colors. I add small details that add a hint of personality in my wardrobe that doesn't come across as unprofessional. Weekends are easier since I can get away with a shirt-jeans-sneakers combo. Sometimes though, I wear my jerseys (going to write about that in a future post) especially if the team I'm cheering for actually has a game on.

Was wondering what you guys wear at work? Do you have a dress code? Or even uniforms to work?

Feel free to chime in fellow bubblers!!!

I always wear long-sleeved shirt in the office while my colleagues, even my boss usually wear casual clothes. They say I have that executive look. Nice eh?

My last job we had to wear white shirts with a collar and black pants. But that was the only restriction. Now I have a pajama day when ever I want

I wear casual clothes to substitute teach. Never know if I'm going to be painting or going outside for supervision or teaching P.E. so casual clothes that can go in the washing machine are required.
