Sorry I Haven’t Been Around!
I know, I know, I have been MIA for days. It looks like my last post was on Thursday night.
So Friday was a bit hectic. Let's see here. My one year old nephew was laying on the couch and rolled the wrong way, so he fell off and busted his lip. He was okay, and was taken care of. He eventually decided to pick up where he left off with testing my patience lol. My two year old niece came down with a fever so I walked to the store to get her medicine (her Mom paid me back for it); I took one of my older nieces with me since they're home schooled. My four and five year old nieces kept bickering and wound up with a timeout. Holy smokes, it was definitely an off-day for all the munchkins.
I wound up getting a late start on my work, then I was tired and distracted, and I realized that blogging was just not in the cards. So I think I did my 365 Blogging Challenge on Bubblews (because I didn't feel like doubling-up today, to be quite honest) and that was it. I enjoy writing, but I was just done at that point. Oh, and did I mention that the Spring season began with rain, snow and slush? Now that was fun to walk in lol.
I went shopping with some of my family today. We went to Rugged Warehouse, Safeway, Savers and Target. I treated myself a little, but I was smart enough to bring some of my babysitting money, so that way I wouldn't charge everything. I found this cute light pink and grey striped sweater with a hood at Savers. I washed it earlier, and I am hoping that it dries in time for my nephew's (not the one we babysit) birthday party tomorrow. It cannot go in the dryer so it's hanging up. I also found the black/grey Randy Orton "Strike First" t-shirt! I have been wanting that one! :D It's not my size -just a bit bigger- but I'll make due. The shirts were about $8 total. I also bought a 50 cent bag of board books for the babies. :) I bought a WWE dog tag/trading card pack, and I got Seth Rollins. Shoot, I was hoping for Shawn Michaels or Randy Orton, but oh well. Everything else was food or necessities.
When we got home, I started on the laundry and then passed out on the couch for a bit. We rented the new Annie from Redbox, so we eventually watched it. I was barely online, I wanted to just watch the movie. It's really cute and I do plan to purchase it. And now I'm just catching up on my blogging.
I don't know if I am going to be on here tomorrow, as I am going to my nephew's 5th Birthday Party, and then I may be too tired when I get home. We'll see what happens. If I'm not on tomorrow, I'll be back Monday or sometime this week.
Alrighty, this post is long enough, so I'm gonna get out of here. You all enjoy the rest of the weekend and take care. :)
