I Will Start with the Library

I was hoping that I would not have to go anywhere this morning, but I have to drive into town to return the DVD set of Boardwalk Empire: Season 2 to the library. I was unable to start watching it last night, which was more than frustrating. (Read Boardwalk Empire Strikes Back for more information.)

I wish that I could leave now, but nothing is open yet at 7:40 a.m. I have been up most of the night related to symptoms with which I deal that seem to be more frequent lately. Unfortunately, it keeps me from sleeping much, if at all.

I have already showered, but need to dress and dry my hair and start a load of laundry (sheets and towels) before I leave.

My first stop will be the library. Then, I shall get some grocery shopping done while I am out, as I need milk, yoghurt, and bread for the week.

I hope to catch a nap before having to go for dinner tonight. I am meeting up with a social group to which I belong. We are having a St. Patrick's Day theme tonight.

I am also glad to have finished with one of the three explanatory stories from my Two Truths and One Lie: I Tried to Meet President Reagan. I shared a couple of crazy things I tried in order to make that happen.

Well, I should probably get my day going. Have a terrific weekend!!

I hope your day goes well and you have a fun evening out with your social group.

I had a very rough night, too, although for different reasons (very painful period cramps)--I hope you are feeling much better, now, because you clearly have a lot to do!

Thank you. I met this group through the website Meetup.com and last year, this St. Paddy's Day dinner was my first event with them.

I do not miss those "period" things in any way, shape or form! I had a hysterectomy 32 years ago. emoticon  Feel better, Sweetness.

The library used tobe a place I was never away from. I could borrow the maximum 9 books and be back for more during the week! But I am not in there very much these days, the internet has taken over.

Hope you enjoy your time at the library! The last I went to one was to watch a video.

I had a bit of a sleepless night, too, but for a much better reason - I was sprucing up my tutu for a 5k I did this morning. Sometimes a girl just needs to let her freak flag fly!

I'm always having to pay overdue fines because I don't get my books returned to the library in time - even when I can renew them online! Books are bad enough, I couldn't cope with DVDs too.

Over here, we can return items even when the library is closed.
