Cricket World Cup 2015: Predictions and Hopes
The WorldCup2015 has finally entered into a very exciting phase with eight top teams out of the original 14 fighting for the coveted trophy.
The Quarter Finals:
The teams in the quarterfinals are
India
Bangladesh
Pakistan
Sri Lanka
Australia
New Zealand
South Africa
West Indies
It is quite surprising how badly England played in league matches (maybe Kevin Peterson and Alastair Cook put a jinx on the team) and found themselves out so early.
Anyway the first quarter final is proving to be very one sided one with SouthAfrica literally trampling all over the Sri Lankan cricket team.
T he second quarter final will be between India and Bangladesh which I predict #India will win easily.
The third QF will be between Pakistan and # Australia. I refuse to predict the outcome of this match because my heart says one thing and cold hard facts another thing.
The fourth QF will be between New Zealand and West Indies in which I think New Zealand will emerge winner.
The Semi Finals:
So if my predictions and cricket knowledge serve me right, we will see South Africa , India , New Zealand and hopefully Pakistan but realistically Australia in the semi finals.
Please excuse me if I seem frenzied in the coming days but my state of mind will depend a great deal on how Pakistan fares in the upcoming World Cup 2015 matches.

We're all in this together now, exciting times ahead. And of course we have a strong rivalry between New Zealand, Australia and South Africa in other sports as well.

I think semifinals will be in the same order as you predicted except one big change in Auutralia as they are definite

Dawnwriter and valmnz The best of luck for your teams in the Quarter finals, for the little I know, it seems that India is a strong candidate but there is still a lot of Cricket to be played!

Well I agree with you just about 100% and you are spot on I think the only game in doubt (in my mind ) is the Pakistan v Australia game. I will be supporting Australia but just hope that it is good game and the best team wins :)

I haven't see it yet how this kind sport play in actual but if I am not mistaken it is more likely softball. Am I right?
