I have heard that cinnamon and garlic have properties that can help lower blood pressure, but I have not heard about basil.

I had heard about garlic and cinnamon but not basil. It would be great if BP can be lowered without consuming a lot of medicines (For tags please use # instead of +sign such as etc.)

Thank you for sharing this herbs and spices, I think this can help if... a person who has blood pressure can also discipline himself/herself from eating a lot of forbidden yummy food. The problem is, even though they intake medicine or other herbs, if they keep on eating and doing things that are bad for them, there will be no effect! God bless.

So true. diet is very important as medications and herbs would not do the trick alone.

Even with medication and herbs probably won't be effective without a good diet.

Me too. I hadn't heard about basil until recently even though I grow it and use it a lot

I have very heavy hands when it comes to shaking the cinnamon on anything. Love it.

It is so great to have alternatives to medications that can have so many adverse side effects

Basil is the lesser known one but I have used it for a long time.

Good point ScarletRose problem is that people don't pay attention to their diets.
