Viral Video Roundup #1

I've decided to write an almost-daily "newspaper" called the Viral Video Roundup. This is the first installment of it. Today I've decided to review some oldies but goodies, viral classics! You may have heard of these before, or you may not have. Either way, you'll get a good laugh out of them for sure.

1. "Me at the Zoo"

You probably not have seen this. It did not go completely viral, but it belongs on this list for one reason; it is the first video uploaded to Youtube! Since it was uploaded, the video has received over 15 Million views, and over 140 Thousand likes. The video was uploaded by Jawed Karim, a co-founder of youtube.

Description: "The first video on YouTube, uploaded at 8:27 P.M. on Saturday April 23rd, 2005. The video was shot by Yakov Lapitsky at the San Diego Zoo.".

2. "Charlie bit my finger" & "Charlie bit my finger - Again!"

These are another old, and more popular classic. Between them, they have over 750 Million views. This received major popularity, and quickly became viral.

Please post your favourite videos in the comments, or suggest one you want me to review!

The Charlie video is priceless! Wonder how old those two boys are now.

This is a good idea, but it's too bad you stopped at one. You should do more!

I am hoping for a day when my videos too will go viral. They do not get much publicity.

I, too, am disappointed that this is your first AND last (at least until now) article in this series.

My favorite viral video is "Dancing", uploaded by a guy who has a series of videos under the heading of "Where In the Hell Is Matt". If you google "Matt Harding", you should find him with no problem.

So, what happened to No 2? You get people interested then, wham, nothing more.

I'm sure there are many viral videos worth watching on Youtube.
