Time To Detox
Getting a fit body doesn't happen overnight and it doesn't all happen in the gym. If I were to give percentages, I would say a fit body is made 20% in the gym and 80% in the kitchen. Think about it, your food intake is your fuel. The better fuel you have, the stronger and better your workouts will be.
I don't usually have long layoffs but when I do i usually do some detox before plunging in full time in training. A trip to the sauna and a couple of massage sessions are part of my detox program to I'll be going for a sauna massage get rid of the toxins in my body. I also drink a lot of the detox water that I make. It is basically water with slices of lemon, cubed cucumber, and grated ginger. I add some honey for some natural sweetness.
Just a couple of tips here, cut your lemons thinly. Don't have lemon wedges. it just doesn't work for me. Chill your cucumber. In fact, chill the whole thing before you chug it all down. Add a little of ginger at first and then add some more until it suits your taste. Buy wild honey. Don't forget to leave out the bees unless you want your mouth and tongue stung. LOL! Just kidding. You might also want to add some cayenne pepper for an extra kick.
