posting discussions

hi fellow PPers! just wanted to ask everyone on board how often you guys create your own discussions? do you do it daily? do you post more than one discussion per day? do you actively seek out new things in the internet or around you so that you have new ideas or experiences to write a post about? or perhaps you wait for an inspiration to hit and then write your discussion?

i used to scour the internet for topics for discussion ideas and whenever i come across something i like, i go to Persona Paper to create a discussion about it. other times, i take note of what happened to me during the day and try to think of something notable to write here at the site.

anyway, i'm looking forward to reading everyone's thoughts. cheers!!!

It depends upon the topic to discuss. If the other members find it not subject for comment, they will not comment at all.

I just created a poll about how one balances their time across sites. Similar concept in that 'discussions' aren't necessarily how I think of any site I contribute to. Yes. There is some 'interaction;' but, I don't view comment snippets as a 'discussion.' Perhaps it's just a difference in terminology.

With that said, I write about what interests me and what I think I can contribute to in terms of the subject. I don't worry so much about 'generating' anything but reads and take what commentary I get as a 'bonus.'

I write about things that interest me or are taking place around me. I write about my children, my life, hobbies, books, cricket and any event that is taking place in world to know what others think about it. Reading other people's posts also gives me ideas.

I do't search it, I just find what's irritates me that day or the news, personal experiences, personal memories, personal difficulties that I want to share.. are the most things that I post in here. God bless.

Allen0187 Well mostly researching although I am not too much into the discussion but more into informational type of posts.

My posts are of many different kinds--some are reviews or sharing my opinion on something else that was talked about, some are informational posts, like tutorials or fact-based writing, some are creative writing or posts about my artwork, and some are just chatty stuff to let people get to know me. It's really a mix of whatever strikes me!
